Caramelized Pecan Baked Brie


  • 1-wheel Brie cheese 
  • ¼ cup brown sugar, packed plus 1 tbsp
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Zest of ½ orange
  • ½ cup chopped pecans 
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries 
  • 1 tbsp Smak Dab Hot Honey Jalapeño Mustard 
  • Pinch of kosher salt 


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 
  2. Place Brie in a baking dish or rimmed baking sheet, and sprinkle with 1 tbsp brown sugar. Bake for 12-15 minutes until softened. Let cool for 5 minutes.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine remaining sugar, honey, butter, spices and orange zest over medium heat. Bring to a boil then remove from the heat and stir in nuts, dried cranberries, mustard and salt; allow to cool slightly. 
  4. Spoon warm sauce over cheese with bread and crackers.
