Lemony Hummus Caesar Dressing


  • ¼ cup hummus (neutral flavoured)
  • 1 tbsp Smak Dab Mustard – White Wine Herb or Curry Dijon
  • ½ tsp lemon zest
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice, or more to taste 
  • 1 tbsp capers, finely minced, plus 1 tsp brine 
  • 1 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 good pinch kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil 
  • 3-4 tbsp finely grated parmesan cheese OR 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • Dash of Worcestershire and hot sauce, optional (but delicious)


  1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients together and whisk well. Season with salt and pepper, or additional lemon juice for acid, if needed. 
  2. Delicious tossed into a salad of kale or romaine, or drizzle on roasted vegetables and potatoes. 
  3. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
