Nuts & Bolts Snack Mix

Ingredients

2 cups Shreddies
2 cups Cheezits
3 cups Rice or Corn Chex
2 cups pretzels
2 cups Bugles or Goldfish
2 cups peanuts (or any nut)
1 cup salted butter
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1.5 tbsp Smak Dab Hot and Sweet Dill, Hot Honey Jalapeño, or White Wine Herb Mustard
1.5 tsp onion powder
1.5 tsp garlic powder
1.5 tsp dried dill
Pinch of kosher salt + freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Measure all cereal, pretzels, bugles and peanuts into a large bowl. Stir to combine.
  2. Melt butter with spices, mustard, Worcestershire, salt and pepper.
  3. Drizzle melted butter/seasoning mix over cereal mixture a little at a time stirring between to make sure the butter mixture is well distributed.
  4. Place mixture on large baking sheets or in large roaster and bake at 250º F for 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes. 
  5. Allow to cool completely. Store in airtight container for up to a month or in zip lock bags. Enjoy the mix after a couple days (2-3) to really have the flavours shine!

Chef tip: You can use any combination of cereal, nuts, pretzels, cheezies, etc as long as there is about 13 cups total.
