For our US customers, we’ve price matched our Canadian shipping rates—so no difference at all.
Think Global, Act Local: At Smak Dab, we’re committed to a greener future. Our aim is to support local communities and embrace more sustainable kitchen practices. A major way we do this is our focus on locally sourced ingredients. We use prairie-grown mustard seed, craft-brewed beer, Quebec maple syrup and Canadian golden honey. Delicious and not flown halfway round the world.
Reuse, Recycle: We choose glass jars for a reason. When you’ve finished your Smak Dab, wash and put to another good use. Or recycle. No to plastic containers.
No Waste November: Our annual campaign to help our customers run a greener kitchen—in a totally doable way. We share our chef’s expertise on how we can be more resourceful (and less wasteful) cooks—from how to choose the best kitchen substitutes to making vinegar from red wine. Literally, every little helps.
Fighting Food Insecurity: This is very close to our hearts. With our time and donations, we contribute to local organizations who work to reduce food poverty for those in need.
Pricing Transparency: This is too small a space to give a full breakdown of how our prices work (though please contact us if you want one) but one area we’d like to highlight is that we will always pay our staff fair salaries. This means 25-30% above minimum wage levels.
