Mailing these products is pretty expensive, but if we ship several jars together, we save on postage. And we want to pass the savings on to you. How it works:

  • Cart = $11–21 (1 x jar), then Shipping = $17
  • Cart = $22–32 (2 x jars), then Shipping = $12
  • Cart = $33–74 (3-6 jars), then Shipping = $8
  • Cart = $75+ (7 jars or more), then Shipping = FREE

And GOOD NEWS if you’re in Winnipeg: just $5 delivery in the city. Yep!

For our US customers, we’ve price matched our Canadian shipping rates—so no difference at all.

Think Global, Act Local: At Smak Dab, we’re committed to a greener future. Our aim is to support local communities and embrace more sustainable kitchen practices. A major way we do this is our focus on locally sourced ingredients. We use prairie-grown mustard seed, craft-brewed beer, Quebec maple syrup and Canadian golden honey. Delicious and not flown halfway round the world.

Reuse, Recycle: We choose glass jars for a reason. When you’ve finished your Smak Dab, wash and put to another good use. Or recycle. No to plastic containers.

No Waste November: Our annual campaign to help our customers run a greener kitchen—in a totally doable way. We share our chef’s expertise on how we can be more resourceful (and less wasteful) cooks—from how to choose the best kitchen substitutes to making vinegar from red wine. Literally, every little helps.

Fighting Food Insecurity: This is very close to our hearts. With our time and donations, we contribute to local organizations who work to reduce food poverty for those in need.

Pricing Transparency: This is too small a space to give a full breakdown of how our prices work (though please contact us if you want one) but one area we’d like to highlight is that we will always pay our staff fair salaries. This means 25-30% above minimum wage levels.

SO GOOD!!

This blend is my new favourite! It smells incredible, and tastes delicious on both chicken and roasted veggies. I look forward to trying it out in other ways!

Golden Boy rubs

While I have only tried both rubs on cooked pork loin that I also put into my smoker for a short while both my wife and I agreed they are going to be staples in our spice cupboard. I have given away a container of each to 2 other couples so far but expect they have not tried them yet. I have a container of each to give to my nephew yet as he likes to cook so will have some feedback from him at some point in the future as well.
I like the vintage mustard container look of these items but still put them both into shakers for ease of use. We found both flavours to be great. Another job well done.
